I love to journey alongside people as they work through hurts and challenges in life… to be present through meaningful and transformative experiences for you.
Maybe you are struggling with dissociation, trauma or abuse, depression & anxiety, struggles with living in a world that can be not-so friendly to your neurodiversity. I can offer some unique therapies like EMDR, OEI, ACT and CBT, to help. I am most influenced by existentialism and Virginia Satir’s model of transformational Family systems therapy.

Nagging, Persistent, Never-ending Pain that seems to be treatment resistant. How much pain, exhibited in the body, comes from emotion stored from trauma? After going through “no pain, no gain” type treatments, it is refreshing to have a less painful way of making a difference to the body as a whole. My techniques communicate with your body to get the optimal balance possible.
“I may be an expert of the body, but your body is an expert on you. Communication is key or the value of treatment is LOST.”
Understanding how your body internalizes external stresses in organs, nervous system and other tissues can direct a more comprehensive plan for body health and improvement of function. With this understanding, treatments can be calming, balancing and pain-relieving without deep and overly-forceful manipulation. Treatments typically follow the pattern of kinetic chain balancing, myo- or viscero-fascial followed by core-based craniosacral/somato-emotional release treatments.
Osteopathy is a hands-on, deep processing, non-invasive way of exploring the way you exist within your body.
“After 11 years of being a registered massage therapist, I switched to osteopathy. I love it because I get better longer lasting results with my osteopathic techniques. Less visits with longer lasting results, who wouldn’t want that. I would love to work myself out of a job by helping people get better.”
My simple life includes firewood gathering, fishing, family time and … Golf. I am a student of life and many topics interest me: ancient cultures, fact science and truth interactions, and more.
Interested? Curiosity piqued? Come find out how osteopathy can help you with our free 30 minute consult.

Johan Greyling, MA (Psychology)
My recent shift from organizational psychology towards individual counselling and becoming a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) allows me to offer advice and support for not only workplace issues like stress, conflict, and career decision-making, but also those stressors so commonly experienced in marriage, parenting, grief and loss, interpersonal communication, spirituality and trauma.
While incorporating a range of theories and techniques, including but not limited to Adlerian, Christian counselling, Cognitive Behavioural Theory (CBT), Couples therapy, Satir, Polyvagal, and Gestalt therapies, my preferred integrative approach is to facilitate client-led exploration and resolution of problems in a secure environment while tailoring the counselling to meet the specific needs of each client.
Additional areas of my practice include general anxiety, depression, couples pre-marriage and marriage counselling, men’s emotional issues, and highly sensitive person emotional challenges (HSP). Overall, my particular passion lies in supporting people through emotional and mental health difficulties by fostering a non-judgmental environment and providing empathetic support.
Reach out to me if you find yourself unable to face life’s challenges, and together we’ll sort out those issues that are preventing you from living life to the fullest.

Everyone has struggles, yet each person is capable of growth and healing. As a counsellor, I aim to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where individuals feel heard and understood and to help individuals recognize their potential by deepening their self-awareness.
I am a student member of the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors and completed my MA in Counseling Psychology coursework through Yorkville University, currently fulfilling the practicum requirements. For over twenty years, I taught in elementary schools across British Columbia. While I love teaching, my transition to counselling has been driven by a desire to support individuals on their mental health and wellness journeys.
My special interests are
● Coping with anxiety & stress
● Depression
● Neurodivergence
● Relationship and Communication Skills
● Trauma
I look forward to working with children (ages 7+), teens, adults, couples, families and groups.
In my personal life, I enjoy being active in the outdoors, gardening, and spending time with my loved ones and my dogs.
Clinically Supervised by Tanya Bedford and Nancy Alexander.

NOT ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS
I have lived and worked in Prince George for 25 years. Having completed a Bachelors degree in Social Work and a Masters degree in Counselling I have had the privilege of working in several different areas over the years including social assistance, homelessness, addiction, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, psychosis, eating disorders, and autism. Trauma has often been an underlying theme for people I have worked with, and I have developed a deep interest in learning how trauma effects the brain and nervous system and the various ways that people can find healing and relief. I am passionate about supporting and walking alongside others as they strive toward healing and wholeness. I am trained in EMDR and Lifespan Integration Therapy, I also draw from other therapeutic approaches in my work including Somatic Experiencing, Emotion Focused Family Therapy, CBT, DBT, and ACT. Additionally, I have spent the last few years working with several neurodiverse women and gaining further knowledge and experience of how autism often presents differently in girls and women and how to better support them.
